MoistureShield® Joist Tape
When you choose deck boards protected with the Solid Core Difference™, don’t let your substructure go unprotected. Ensure every inch of your deck is designed to defy the elements with joist protection tape from MoistureShield. Its patented acrylic adhesive and woven cloth substrate creates a tight seal over your deck joists and deck screws to prevent moisture infiltration. MoistureShield Joist Tape tears easily without tools, doesn’t stick to itself and can be repositioned without leaving a residue, making it incredibly easy to work with on any substrate material—including lumber and steel.

MoistureShield® Deck Clip
MoistureShield Deck Clips are custom designed to fit securely into the grooved profile of our deck boards for superior holding power. Made in high-strength carbon or stainless steel, they also extend the life of your deck by elevating the boards off the joists, increasing air flow and reducing moisture buildup that can damage substructure.
Aegis Clip™
The Aegis Clips feature teeth that make them ideal hidden deck fasteners for fitting into the grooved edges of composite decking boards, reducing lateral movement for added stability. Made with glass-reinforced plastic for lasting strength and durability, these deck clips use a 90-degree installation process that makes installing and replacing boards easy.
